Like New Steel sailing passenger ship with accommodations for 75 passengers. She complies with the latest SOLAS requirements (including 2010 regulation changes). The hull was built in 1947 and had a long and active career as a fishing vessel and research ship before her conversion to a sailing ship began in 2002. She was stripped to the bare hull. New decks, bulkheads, pipeworks, electrical wiring, mechanical and electrical systems were installed along with accommodations, sailing rig, superstructures and 1001 other things. Essentially, the entire ship, with the exception of the lower hull, is new! The entire conversion was overseen by Transport Canada Surveyors and was completed in March 2008 to the highest international safety standards.
