Vessel Description

MAKE ANY OFFER MUST GO !!  Used 55 foot Island Ketrch Rigged sailing vessel. This vessel has been opened up on the interior for remodeling. The interior is showing signs of rotten overhead frames in places that will need to be replaced. Owner has purchased the majority of the replacement parts to go into the vessel once the woodworking has been repairs. Lots of spares. The full set of sails includes a mainsail which is in need of a 12” patch near the foot. 62ft overhead bridge clearance. Formerly had a 3KW Generator. Has 2 x 30 amp shore connectors. This vessel is designed as an all ocean sailing vessel capable of worlwide travel. The full keel has 16,000 lbs of lead ballast. Windless/Gypsy - Stainless steel 120 VAC vertical power windless, with motor under deck in chain locker and appears in good working condition. Vessel has a Bimini which covers approximately half the cockpit, from the soft dodger to just aft of the steering position/Captains chair. Made from blue “sunbrella” material, on aluminum framing, it is in good condition.This bimini, which covers the aft part of the cockpit. There are three staterooms, a king sized V-berth forward, A double cabin to starboard equipped with over under single bunks and a queen sized aft cabin. The forward cabins share a head equipped with tub/shower. The aft cabin has an en-suite head with no shower. The aft head has been blanked off in accordance with USCG sanitary regulations. The forward head is equipped with a class 1 sanitary device. There is one tub/shower in the forward head, which drains to the bilge. The 3 staterooms includes a twin berth which has been dismantled due to rot in the upper bunk and needs rebuilding. The tub/shower has been cut away due to rot.Has a Tewkesbury Special coal burning stove in the salon. Fully renovated and updated this vessel is worth over $300K. In her present condition she’s worth approximately $60K, and will need at least $50-$100K depending on whether a new owner does the work themselves or outside contractors hired.
